The Dashboard


The Dashboard is the first section in the Management Console. It contains three subsections that can be activated by clicking the corresponding buttons in the section header:

Charts

The Charts subsection provides an overview of how well your community is doing in terms of handling calls. It displays two charts: one for the number of calls up and one for the number of call setups. You can limit the scope by drilling down from the whole community to individual sites, servers, groups, virtual platforms or applications.



Wall

The Wall is especially useful if you have a large number of servers in your community. It displays an overview of all your servers and how many calls are up on each. The Wall makes it easy to identify servers with problems, and hence do not have any calls up.



Sessions

The Sessions sub section displays a list of currently active calls. Every time the list is refreshed it will provide a new snapshot of all active sessions. This section is especially useful to find "zombie" sessions, i.e. sessions that are up longer than expected. It also displays a more detailed view of the state of a community.



All sections now contain a live search function allowing you to drill down the view by session ID, server, group and more.
