Voxeo's SIPMethod Application Server is a robust SIP Application Server converged with Web and Web Services. It is composed of a high performance SIP Servlet Specification 1.1 (JSR 289) compliant SIP Servlet engine with a seamlessly integrated HTTP Servlet and Web Services engine. It leverages the standard SIP Servlet API to provide an open programmable and extensible application interface for SIP application developers.

SIPMethod is used in the Prophecy product to host it's internal Web Applications (like the Prophecy Home Page and the Management Console) as well as it's internal SIP Servlets (like the VoiceXML SIP Servlet). This does not mean end users cannot also deploy their own applications or that SIPMethod as it is packaged with Prophecy is any less capable then a stand alone installation.
