Voxeo Designer Overview

Voxeo Designer is a web-based voice application development tool that works like an interactive tutorial, walking users through simple steps to create voice applications. Designer is part of the Prophecy installation and available on the hosted Prophecy platform and can be used to create robust IVR applications without having to write programming code such as VoiceXML and CCXML.

Applications that you create in Designer are tightly integrated into the Prophecy platform. There is no need to host a Designer application on a web server, like you would host a Voice XML application. For Designer, the application is rendered as VoiceXML when a call is made into the Prophecy platform. For example, when a call to a Designer application is received by Prophecy, instead of fetching an application from a web site, the Designer application runs, and in turn, renders the particular dialog needed for the caller. Each subsequent dialog request is rendered in realtime by Designer.

To open Voxeo Designer in Prophecy

On the start bar, click the Voxeo Prophecy icon, and then click Designer.
