The vendor-specific fetchhint value of 'stream' has been wholly deprecated in all complaint VoiceXML 2.1 browsers, and will cause a fatal error on the Prophecy VoiceXML platform. To avoid any possible version conflicts, use the values of only 'prefetch' or 'safe' in your code. The elements that could be affected by non-compliant browser idiosyncrasies in this regard are:

choice
grammar
link
script
subdialog
submit
goto
Note that by default, the Prophecy platform will prefetch all resources, and that the performance benefits of actually denoting a custom setting for 'fetchhint' are at best, marginal: Most developers never need to set this to a custom value in any capacity.
